Delete a NeedLens AI account

In the app, open account settings and choose Delete account. Sign in again if prompted so the service can verify that the request is yours, then confirm deletion. Wait for the app’s completion message. If deletion fails, follow the displayed instructions; a tap alone does not confirm deletion.

Account deletion removes your active Firebase sign-in account and deletes your usage profile, subscription-verification records, and submitted reports from NeedLens AI’s service database. The app also clears its local lists after successful deletion. A minimal account-identifier deletion marker is normally scheduled to become eligible for automatic removal after 24 hours. Database cleanup may run later; an interrupted cleanup can retain the minimal marker until it finishes.

Firebase’s provider policy allows up to 180 days to remove other authentication information from its live and backup systems after deletion is initiated. Its authentication IP logs are kept for a few weeks. This provider retention is separate from removal of your active NeedLens account.

Request deletion without the app

Email info@needlensai.com with the subject “NeedLens AI account deletion.” Send the request from the email address associated with your NeedLens account and state whether you want the account and its associated service data deleted. If you no longer have access to that address, explain this in your request.

We verify account ownership before acting. Do not send your password, purchase token, payment-card details, or private room photos. Opening the email link does not send a request; send the email from your mail app. Account deletion does not cancel Google Play billing.

Clear only local data

Use Settings → Delete local data in the app to remove saved tasks and shopping items from the device. You can also clear NeedLens AI’s storage in Android’s app settings. This does not delete your cloud account, restore the free scan allowance, or cancel billing. Photos you originally selected from your gallery remain under your control in the gallery.

What deletion does not cancel or remove

Cancel a paid plan separately in Google Play subscriptions if you want to stop future renewals. Google Play may retain payment records under its policies. NeedLens AI does not store submitted photo files in its service database. Google Cloud Gemini may retain prompts flagged for abuse investigation for up to 90 days under its current policy. Account deletion does not immediately erase those separate provider records. Provider security logs and legally required records follow their own policies. See the privacy notice.
